Foremanship Academy
ABC SoCal Foremanship Academy is designed to improve and enhance your leadership skills. You will learn the responsibilities, expectations, and importance of a Foreman. You will learn how to effectively communicate with your crew and the office staff! This class is only available to ABC SoCal members!
This is a five (5) month program that will include topics such as:
- Introduction to Technology
- Project Overview
- Project Handoff
- Project Execution
- Project Control
- Project Closing
Qualifications:
- Must have 5 years of experience in the construction industry
- Must be registered by your employer and have an assigned Mentor (The mentor’s role is to help guide you at the job site and put your new skills into practice)
- You must have completed and be able to show proof of Safety classes such as:
– Aerial Lifts
– OSHA 30
– CPR/First Aid
– Forklift
Applicants go through a selection process and are not guaranteed admittance. ABC SoCal Members are limited to only 2 attendees per company. In order to be considered, ABC Membership in good standing is required, and the following completed Application and Letter of Recommendation.
